Esha Deol Celebrates Dharmendra & Hema Malini’s 44th Anniversary

Today is the 44th anniversary of veteran Bollywood actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, celebrated as one of the most beloved couples in the industry.

In the image, Hema Malini is depicted leaning her head on Dharmendra’s shoulder, exuding elegance in a floral outfit, while Dharmendra looks dapper in a green shirt, showcasing his style.

Following their marriage in 1980, Dharmendra and Hema Malini became parents to two daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol. Hema is Dharmendra’s second wife. In addition to his sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, Dharmendra also has two daughters, Prakash Kaur being his first wife.

Dharmendra’s latest film role was in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,’ alongside Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor. His upcoming project, directed by Sriram Raghavan, is titled ‘Ikkis.’

Amidst her political responsibilities, Hema Malini remains active during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Having represented the BJP in Mathura since 2014, she is now seeking reelection in the constituency. Her opponent from the Congress party in Mathura is Mukesh Dhangar.

Recently, Esha and Ahana, Hema Malini’s daughters, were seen in Mathura showing their support for their mother’s political campaign.
In an interview with ANI, Esha praised the efforts towards development and preservation in Mathura and Vrindavan.

“There’s so much to say about Mathura, I’m coming here after some time, and there’s been so much development. It feels so good here. And the special thing is that along with development, you all have taken care of Vrindavan’s alleys, its heritage, you’ve preserved it well,” Isha stated.

Esha emphasized the support from the residents of Mathura and expressed her confidence in her mother’s success in the election.

“There are so many supporters here who are the residents of Mathura. They want my mother to stay here and win the election from here. They want her to do much more, and it’s because of their support that my mom can do all this. So, their support is important,” she stated.

Voting for Phase 2 in Mathura occurred on April 26th.
