The release date for the live-action movie “Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan,” starring Anupam Kher, has been rescheduled, with the film now set to hit cinemas on May 31. Initially, the movie was scheduled for release on May 24. The announcement was accompanied by the unveiling of the teaser for the film.
Directed by Rajiv Chilaka and produced by Rajiv Chilaka and Megha Chilaka, this marks the first live-action adaptation of the popular animated show “Chhota Bheem.” The screenplay is penned by Niraj Vikram, with Srinivas Chilakalapudi and Bharath Laxmipati serving as co-producers.
Anupam Kher, who plays Guru Shambhu in the film, took to Instagram to share the teaser, inviting fans to join Bheem and his gang as they take on Damyaan to protect Dholakpur. The movie also stars Makrand Deshpande and Yagya Bhasin.
The film’s announcement, titled ‘Chhota Bheem And The Curse of Damyaan,’ was made in Mumbai last year to celebrate 15 years of the beloved animation series. Apart from Kher and Deshpande, the movie features Yagya Bhasin as Chhota Bheem, Aashriya Mishra as Chutki, and Surabhi Tiwari as Tuntun Mausi.
The movie is all set to hit theaters on May 31, 2024.
