Ananya Panday has been appointed as the first-ever Indian brand ambassador for Chanel, a career-defining moment. The actress will be attending Chanel’s Cruise 2025/26 show at the legendary Villa d’Este on Lake Como, Italy. Ananya expressed her thrill on Instagram by sharing a beautiful landscape of Lake Como and a warm welcome note from her Chanel friends.
The note said, “Dear Ananya. Benvenuti a Lake Como! We are pleased to greet you to the Cruise show in Italy’s most romantic city, renowned for its cinematic landscapes and romantic villas. We are looking forward to sharing this solar dolce vita experience and making some unforgettable memories with you. See you very soon. Your Chanel friends.”
She said in gratitude, “Beyond grateful and thrilled to be on this journey with @chanelofficial. The first ever brand ambassador for and from India. Dreams really do come true.”
Ananya’s partnership with Chanel also started prior to her ambassadorial announcement on April 16, 2025. She impressed everyone at Chanel Cruise 2024/25 fashion show held in Paris on October 1, 2024, appearing stunning in Look 9 from the collection as a pastel tweed jacket and matching shorts. The look was topped by shining bejewelled pins, highlighting her trademark style.

Ananya enjoyed funny moments on Instagram with her younger sister Rysa Panday, who she took along to the show. She wrote alongside the post, “What an honour to attend the @chanelofficial show at the Grand Palais and yes I get forever brownie points for taking Rysa as my plus one.”
Ananya’s ascension as a world fashion icon continues, and with her Chanel collaboration, she might tread the path of other world celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone, and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.
