Spending quality time with your partner before marriage can be incredibly beneficial. This was evident when Radhika Merchant shared her experience of the COVID-19 lockdown with her soon-to-be husband, Anant Ambani.
During the grand pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar this March, Merchant recounted how the pandemic, despite its challenges, allowed them to grow closer. The lockdown period in March 2020, which kept them apart from their families for months, became a time of bonding and appreciating the small joys of life.
Radhika said, “In March of 2020, Anant and I got locked down here and couldn’t go back to see our family for months. Although it was hard to stay away, we learned to appreciate the small joys of life.” Her reflections underscore how the pandemic gave many couples, including them, a chance to slow down and cherish the simple moments together.
This experience has evidently strengthened their relationship, highlighting the importance of spending meaningful time together before marriage.
