Kim Kardashian ‘would never discourage’ Kanye West from seeing children as he moves out

Washington [US], February 18 (ANI): American reality star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West’s relationship may be coming to an end, but their children remain the top priority.
As per E! News, even though Kim and Kanye are no longer on talking terms, a source told the publication that the rapper is still an active presence in the couple’s kids’ lives.
The source shared, “He still wants to play a huge role in their lives and Kim would never discourage that.”
Regarding the new family dynamic, a second source shared some insight on the living arrangement, revealing Kanye moved out of the home he and Kim shared during their relationship.
“He is no longer living at the house with Kim and the kids. When he sees the kids, he meets them elsewhere,” the second insider explained.
The same source added that the ‘Stronger’ rapper can see North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West “when he wants.”
Prior to moving out, Kanye was living in Wyoming, but has since returned to California, where the second source shared that he has been “focusing on his work.”
The same source added that the rapper is “always meeting with different people and getting ideas out.”
As for Kim, the first source shared, “She is moving on and is having a lot of fun at this stage in her life.”
And though the reality star “already feels like she is divorced,” the source revealed that she and Kanye “are at a standstill currently and neither of them is pushing” to make their split official.
“At this point in time, there is no rush for the paperwork to be finalized,” the first source shared.
E! News previously reported that Kim was hesitant to call it quits with the rapper, because “she wants to make sure she’s making the right decision for the kids.”
“It’s not about the marriage anymore, she’ll always care for Kanye but it’s over between them. Kim is only focused on what’s best for the kids. It’s a tough decision for her and she’s figuring it out,” a source told E! at the time.
The duo is parents to four children: 7-year-old daughter North, 5-year-old son Saint, 3-year-old daughter Chicago, and 1-year-old son Psalm. Kanye and Kim are heading for a divorce after nearly seven years of marriage.
As per Page Six, Kim is hoping to reach a settlement prior to filing officially with the courts so that she and Kanye can work out their finances and how to split up their properties.
The famous American reality show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ will highlight the marriage problems of Kim and Kanye in the final episodes. (ANI)

Washington [US], February 28 (ANI): American supermodel Bella Hadid recently offered her fans a rare glimpse into how she takes care of her autoimmune disorders.
The 24-year-old star posted a series of pictures on her Instagram handle recently, showing her hooked up to an IV. She captioned the post as, “Living with a few chronic autoimmune disease = always finding time for my IVs.”

Back in 2012, Bella was diagnosed with Lyme disease alongside her younger brother Anwar, and their mother, Yolanda. In 2016, at the age of 20, she opened up to People magazine about struggling with Lyme disease while working as a model.
At the time, she said, “Life isn’t always what it looks like on the outside, and the hardest part of this journey is to be judged by the way you look instead of the way you feel.”
Bella’s older sister Gigi, who has been candid about her own struggles with a different autoimmune disorder, Hashimoto’s disease, has also previously spoken out about what it was like to grow up with her mother and siblings battling Lyme.
As most of her fans might recall, Bella has also been very vocal about the importance of mental health over the years on her social media. While celebrating her twenty-third birthday in 2019, Bella had shared a note on Instagram about asking for help in times of need. (ANI)

COVID-19 effect: Taylor Swift cancels ‘Lover Fest’ shows

Published

on

By

Washington [US], February 28 (ANI): The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has put a halt to almost everything, with music festivals and various cultural activities facing the brunt of the health crisis. The latest to be impacted by the pandemic is singer-songwriter Taylor Swift’s ‘Lover Fest’ shows.
The 31-year-old singer recently announced that the previously postponed two-city ‘Lover Fest’ tour has been cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic.
Swift tweeted, “I love coming on here to tell you good news, or to share a new project with you. It’s not my favorite thing in the world to have to tell you the news I’m sad about.”
She added, “I’m so sorry, but I cannot reschedule the shows that we’ve postponed. Although refunds have been available since we first postponed the Lover Fest shows, many of you hung onto your tickets and I too hung onto the idea that we could reschedule.”
“This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future. I’m so disappointed that I won’t be able to see you in person as soon as I wanted to,” the ‘Lover’ singer continued.
The singer added, “I miss you terribly and can’t wait till we can all safely be at shows together again.”

Swift had announced last April that she was postponing the two-city tour with the intention of coming up with the event in 2021, reported People magazine.
‘Lover Fest’ was supposed to take place in Los Angeles and Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Swift opted to forgo a worldwide tour and instead focus on that two-city event and perform at international festivals.
Since the release of the 2019 album ‘Lover’, the singer dropped sister albums titled ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’ in 2020.
The Grammy-winning singer is also set to drop the first re-recording of her albums in April following tensions with her Big Machine Label Group, Scooter Braun, Ithaca Holdings, and Shamrock Holdings – the latter of which currently owns the rights to her masters.
Last week, Swift dropped a re-recorded version of her song ‘Love Story’ after announcing that she has completed the first re-recording of her second album, ‘Fearless’.
‘Fearless’ (Taylor’s Version) is the first of six albums that Swift is re-releasing. Swift’s second studio album ‘Fearless’ won her album of the year at the Grammys in 2009, making her the youngest artist to ever win the award at the time. (ANI)

Here’s when Justin Bieber’s new album ‘Justice’ will release

Published

on

By

Washington [US], February 28 (ANI): Good news for all the Justin Bieber fans! The singer is coming out with some fresh music soon. Bieber recently revealed the release date for his sixth studio album titled ‘Justice’.
The upcoming album is set to release on March 19, this year. The Grammy-winning singer shared the release date of his album on his Instagram account and said that it is his “small part” in providing “comfort and justice” for those feeling helpless.
Sharing the album’s cover, Bieber wrote, “JUSTICE the album March 19th. In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken planet, we all crave healing and justice for humanity. In creating this album my goal is to make music that will provide comfort, to make songs that people can relate to and connect to so they feel less alone. Suffering, injustice, and pain can leave people feeling helpless.”
Bieber also said that even though his songs cannot “solve injustice”, music is a great way of reminding each other that “we aren’t alone”.
He added, “Music is a great way of reminding each other that we aren’t alone. Music can be a way to relate to one another and connect with one another. I know that I cannot simply solve injustice by making music but I do know that if we all do our part by using our gifts to serve this planet and each other that we are that much closer to being united.”
“This is me doing a small part. My part. I want to continue the conversation of what justice looks like so we can continue to heal,” Bieber concluded his post.

The forthcoming album will feature hit tracks like ‘Holy’, featuring Chance the Rapper, ‘Lonely’ featuring Benny Blanco, and ‘Anyone’, reported People Magazine.
Bieber released his last album Changes on February 14 last year, featuring singles ‘Yummy’, ‘Intentions’, and ‘Forever’. The album was nominated for the best pop vocal album at the Grammys and served as his return to music since releasing ‘Purpose’ in 2015. (ANI)

Study: Certain occupations may be linked with heavy drinking

Published

on

By

Washington [US], February 27 (ANI): Researchers at the University of Liverpool discovered that working in specific occupations might be related to a higher probability of heavy drinking in individuals in people aged 40-69 years.
The research was published in the open-access journal ‘BMC Public Health’. The findings could be used to help target public health or work-based interventions aiming to reduce heavy drinking, according to the authors.
Researchers at the University of Liverpool found that jobs classified as skilled trade occupations, such as construction and manufacturing jobs, were most likely to be associated with heavy drinking. While jobs broadly categorised as professional occupations, for example, doctors and teachers were associated with a lower likelihood of heavy drinking.
The occupations associated with the highest rates of heavy drinking in the UK were publicans and managers of licensed premises, plasterers, and industrial cleaning process occupations, including cleaners of industrial premises. The occupations associated with the lowest rates of heavy drinking were clergy, physicists, geologists and meteorologists, and medical practitioners.
Andrew Thompson, the corresponding author said, “Heavy alcohol consumption increases the risk of physical and mental harm and by understanding which occupations are associated with heavy drinking, we can better target resources and interventions. Our research provides insight for policymakers and employers regarding which sectors may have the highest rates of heavy alcohol consumption.”
To examine associations between occupation and alcohol consumption, the authors analysed data on 100,817 adults from across the UK who were 55 years old on average and recruited to the UK Biobank between 2006 and 2010.
Participants reported their weekly or monthly alcohol intake and occupation. Heavy drinkers were defined as women consuming more than 35 UK units of alcohol per week and men consuming more than 50 units per week. In the UK, one unit of alcohol is defined as 10 milliliters (8 grams) of pure alcohol, and typical servings of common alcoholic drinks, such as a 175-milliliter glass of wine or a pint of beer, contain one to three units of alcohol.
The authors found that associations between occupation and heavy drinking differed in men and women. For men, the jobs that were most likely to be associated with heavy drinking were skilled trade occupations, while jobs classified as managers and senior officials were most likely to be associated with heavy drinking for women.
The occupations associated with the lowest rates of heavy drinking for men were clergy, medical practitioners, and town planners, compared with school secretaries, biological scientists, biochemists, and physiotherapists for women.
Thompson said, “The observed differences for men and women in associations between occupations and heavy drinking could indicate how work environments, along with gender and other complex factors, can influence relationships with alcohol. Workplace-based interventions aiming to address alcohol consumption in occupations where heavy drinking is prevalent could benefit both individuals and the wider economy by improving employee wellbeing and by indirectly increasing productivity.”
The authors cautioned that due to the cross-sectional nature of the study, it was not possible to establish a causal relationship between alcohol consumption and occupation. (ANI)
