The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Jansamvad received a warm reception upon entering Baladwala village in Khand Morni on Tuesday. The Government Senior Secondary School in Baladwala hosted a program where Omprakash Devinagar, Vice President of the Shivalik Development Board, participated as the chief guest. Shyamlal Bansal, a BJP leader, was also in attendance.
During his address at the event, Omprakash Devinagar highlighted the inclusive development initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the unique schemes launched by Chief Minister Manohar Lal to address education, health, law and order, women empowerment, youth upliftment, and Antyodaya. He emphasized the significant decisions taken to bring about a system change through widespread use of IT, leading to the reduction of nepotism, corruption, and regionalism. Devinagar mentioned the successful shift of government services and schemes online via Parivar Pehchan Patra, ensuring that people receive their entitlements conveniently.
He pointed out that various departments are establishing stalls during the Viksit Bharat Yatra to provide benefits under programmes such as Family Identity Card, BPL Card, Aadhar Card, Ujjwala Yojana, Self-Employment, and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandan Yojana. Devinagar and Shyamlal Bansal awarded certificates to beneficiaries of schemes like PM Vandan Yojana, Old Age Samman Allowance, and Healthy Child Competition during the event. Devinagar encouraged people to visit the stalls set up by various departments on the Yatra day to avail themselves of the benefits offered.
Before the programme, Devinagar inspected the departmental stalls, gathering information about the services provided to the people.
