Several tourism projects have been launched at Kevadia, the site of the world’s largest statue of Sardar Patel. As of now, 17 projects have been opened out of total 21 projects planned.

These projects include seaplane, cruise, river rafting, Ekta mall, Jungle Safari, Butterfly Garden, etc. This will give tourists an opportunity to have a world-famous place in Gujarat. Cost of visiting the place is also one of the prime considerations.

Entry tickets for different projects cost Rs. 2900, while for children it cost around Rs 2500. This price is only for Kevadia. If you stay there or have tea, water, snacks, or meals, you will have to spend money separately.

Places including Jungle Safari, river rafting, Ekta Mall, children’s park can see huge crowds of tourists during the Diwali festivities.

The steady influx of tourists has increased in the first year since the Sardar Patel statue was inaugurated on 31 October 2018.

Last Diwali, 2,91,640 tourists visited, double the number of tourists in the previous year. The average number of tourists per day during the Diwali holidays in 2019 was 22,434 as against the average of 14,918 tourists per day during the 2018 Diwali holidays.

Then, now with the start of other projects along with the Statue of Unity, the number of tourists from home and abroad may increase.

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS AROUND KEVADIA

World Forest: Here are all seven continental herbs, plants and trees, which play an important role in realizing the sense of unity in diversity from a global perspective. The forest is developed in such a way that the visitor experiences the natural forest of each zone.

Ekta Nursery: The objective behind the inauguration of this nursery is that whenever the visitors return from here, they take a plant called ‘Plant of Unity’ from this nursery.

Butterfly Garden: This butterfly garden has been carefully designed to allow visitors to see and enjoy the beautiful and colorful nature of the Statue of Unity. Spread over 6 acres, the vast park is home to 45 species of plants and 38 species of butterflies.

Ekta Auditorium: The auditorium will host socio-cultural events such as music, dance, drama, workshops, food and art and literature festivals, with a seating capacity of 700 people.

River Rafting: It will give good opportunities to adventure loving tourists to have the real experience that they like.

Cactus Garden: Different species of Thor are found in this garden. Thor is an attractive and growing plant in different shapes and sizes.

India Forest: More than 5 lakh flowering species are found here in an area of 10 hectares, along with greenery trees enhance the beauty of India Forest.

Ferry Services: 7 KM ferry services to the Statue of Unity make it an enjoyable ride to reach the monument easily and conveniently.

Jungle Safari: The park is home to more than 170 species found in Africa, Australia, Asia and America.

Ekta Mall: In this mall, the visitor will find handicrafts and traditional fabrics of different states in India in one place.
