A ‘Starch Rice Cooker’ has been designed for diabetic patients by Kashmir University students. The students have also received the patent right for the innovation.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also honored the five students who came up with the idea of this cooker for diabetic patients.

The students who have designed this ‘Starch Rice Cooker’ are Sajid Noor, Jahangir Hameed Lone, Imran Nazir, Azur Hussain and their teacher Dr. Bilal Ahmed Malik. The patent rights have been given by the Indian Patent Authority.

Moreover, remotely, the cooker can be used over a text message and for a number of people, the cooker can cook the meal. The cooker does not involve manual methods. That’s why it is a unique invention.

Talking to the media, Sajid Noor said, “The two more chambers for water and rice have been made in this rice cooker, which is controlled by Manbi technology over GSM and loT.”

Noor further stated, the cooker will automatically pour water and rice from the designated chamber into the cooker to cook water and rice by sending a message through mobile phones. The command giver in the cooker will also inform at every stage.

However, the invention of ‘Starch Rice Cooker’ has been published in the Patent Journal.

Furthermore, teacher Dr. Bilal Ahmed talked to the media and said, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are very innovative and the youth valley invention and research is on. At every stage, they only need encouragement.
