Demanding immediate action against individuals who shouted the slogans, saffron party leaders urge governor to dismiss the state govt.

In a dramatic turn of events, BJP leaders in Karnataka protested vehemently on Thursday, demanding immediate action against the individuals who shouted ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ during the Rajya Sabha victory celebrations.
Boycotting the Legislative Assembly, the leaders, led by opposition leader R. Ashok, marched to the Raj Bhavan to submit a request to Governor for the government’s dismissal.

Addressing the media, R. Ashok urged, “Don’t turn the Vidhana Soudha into a sleeper cell for terrorists by allowing such slogans.” The opposition party expressed outrage over the lack of action against those responsible and staged a protest on the Vidhana Soudha steps before submitting their complaint to the Governor.

The opposition leader R.Ashok accused the government of injustice towards soldiers and alleged that efforts were underway to cover up the incident. Minister Priyank Kharge’s clean chit, stating no ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans were shouted, fueled the BJP’s discontent.
In a contrasting statement, BK Hariprasad, a senior Congress leader, triggered further controversy by asserting that Pakistan is an enemy only for the BJP, not the Congress. This remark led to heated exchanges between BJP and Congress members in both the Legislative Assembly and the Council.

The saga continues as the political landscape in Karnataka simmers with tension, with the BJP standing firm in their demand for justice and accountability.
