Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated a direct flight from Bilaspur to Indore along with Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel on Monday.
The flights will be effective from 3 October 2022, from Bilaspur-Indore-Bilaspur every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
While addressing Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia said, “This new air connectivity will facilitate people of both the states and contribute to the economic development of the regions.”
Meanwhile, the Minister further added that they will also operationalize 200 destinations including heliports and water aerodromes by 2026.
Moreover, in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh Bilaspur and Indore are prominent cities that will also boost tourism and trade activities in the region.
However, the civil aviation sector has been taken to newer heights which improved air connectivity in every part of the country.
