As known. Jr NTR was roped in for the YRF Spy Universe War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and now the latest news is that the Telugu star will play a RAW agent in this flick. We already saw a face off between Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, who played a negative role, in the first part, War.
The YRF Spy Universe created by Aditya Chopra is now getting bigger with Jr NTR joining the league and it is expected that there will be a spin-off from War 2 leading to a standalone film starring Jr NTR. Aditya Chopra and Ayan Mukerji are looking at creating a spy universe that will have stars from across India. All the subsequent films are likely to have cameos done by other War stars similar to the Marvel and DC films.It is expected that War 2 will release in 2025 around Independence Day. Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are apparently excited to be working together on this high-octane pan-Indian action film.
Right now, Jr NTR is shooting for director Koratala Siva’s Devara also featuring Saif Ali Khan and Jahnvi Kapoor. He was recently in Bengaluru for the shooting of the film. News is going around that for Devara 2, it will be Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor who will be the heroine. Devara has music by Anirudh is and expected to release on October 10 this year. Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko are also part of the cast. This is Jr NTR’s fourth film with Koratala Siva – they have earlier worked together in Brindavanam, Oosaravelli and Janatha Garage.
While in Bengaluru, the Telugu star met up with Kannada star Rishab Shetty and director Prashanth Neel which created a huge buzz among the audience. There are rumours that Jr NTR will work with Prashanth Neel on an action film but there was no official news.
