Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel once again directed sharp criticism at former President Donald Trump, this time mocking his efforts to sell merchandise to supporters as the 2024 election approaches. On his show, Kimmel contrasted Trump’s focus on selling items like an “official” silver coin featuring his face, instead of campaigning like other candidates.

“We are in the final stretch of the election when the candidates are supposed to be making their final push to run this country,” Kimmel quipped. “And this n*t’s having a yard sale.”

Trump’s Coin Promotion Draws Kimmel’s Ire

Kimmel took particular aim at a $100 Trump coin being sold to supporters, pointing out that it contains only $31 worth of silver. “What captures the essence of Donald Trump more than charging the fans who love him most three times more than a coin is worth?” Kimmel joked, comparing it to “a Chuck E. Cheese token with his head on it.”

Taking the humor further, Kimmel added, “It’s the perfect gift to send him when he comes in second in November,” poking fun at Trump’s upcoming re-election attempt.

Kimmel Shifts Focus to Melania Trump

The comedian also took a swipe at former First Lady Melania Trump, highlighting her sale of a $600 “Vote Freedom” necklace. Kimmel humorously described the product as similar to having “Lady Liberty on the front and nothing behind it, just like Melania herself.”

Trump Fires Back at Pennsylvania Rally

At a Pennsylvania rally, Trump responded to his late-night critics, including Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Fallon, though he avoided naming them directly. Calling for the return of legendary talk show host Johnny Carson, Trump lamented the state of late-night comedy, saying, “Where’s Johnny Carson? Bring back Johnny.”

Trump also criticized Fallon for apologizing after their 2016 interview, where Fallon playfully messed up Trump’s hair, calling him “weak and pathetic” for trying to distance himself from the moment.

Trump’s Harsh Words for Kimmel

In his rally speech, Trump saved his most biting comments for Kimmel, recalling a previous comment Kimmel made mocking him. “I think he said something like, ‘ha ha ha, he thinks he bothers me,’ or some crap like that,” Trump said. He ended his rant by accusing late-night hosts of spreading “hatred” instead of comedy, saying, “It’s supposed to be comedy. It’s hatred.”
