Joy and celebration filled the atmosphere in Jharkhand’s Khirabera village as three local workers, Anil Bedia, Rajendra Bedia, and Sukra Bedia, who were rescued from the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarakhand, returned home. The trio arrived in their village late on Friday night, and upon their return, their families conducted prayers and rituals to mark the occasion and celebrate their safe return.

Anil Bedia, expressing his feelings to ANI, shared, “For two days, we were worried about whether we would be able to come out or not… After coming out, we are all feeling really good. The whole village was waiting for our rescue.” The relief and joy were palpable as the families of the rescued workers expressed gratitude for their safe return.

Anil Bedia’s parents, particularly, conveyed their relief and happiness at having their son back. His father expressed overwhelming joy, and his mother, who had been living in constant worry since learning about Anil being trapped in the tunnel, finally felt a sense of relief.

Furthermore, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met with the 15 workers from Jharkhand and their families following their safe rescue from the Silkyara tunnel on November 28, providing a moment of reassurance and support during this challenging time.
