Hamas base in Gaza captured and 50 terrorists are killed

According to the Israel Defense Force (IDF), its armoured forces, led by the Givati infantry brigade, overran a Hamas terrorist military stronghold in West Jabaliya, located in the northern Gaza Strip, on Tuesday as part of the expanded ground offensive. About fifty terrorists were taken out in the attack. According to the IDF, the commander of the Hamas Jabaliya Battalion trained in the captured stronghold before carrying out terrorist operations. Among other things, the terrorists used its firing positions and terror tunnels to get to the coastal region. Numerous weapons that the terrorists used were also stored in the stronghold.

The forces in the field located and destroyed tunnel shafts, weapons and military equipment. In addition, fighters located intelligence material in the compound.
