Under the Jan Samvad initiative of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, several government departments addressed the needs of beneficiaries at the BDPO office in Pinjore on Wednesday, resolving their issues promptly. The event featured Municipal Council Kalka Chairman Krishna Lal Lamba as the chief guest, along with the presence of former Kalka MLA and Rashtriya Mahila Morcha treasurer Latika Sharma.
During the event, Krishna Lal Lamba emphasized the government’s commitment to inclusive development, highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s initiatives in education, health, law and order, women’s empowerment, youth upliftment, and Antyodaya. He praised the introduction of online government services and schemes through Parivar Pehchan Patra, ensuring that benefits reach people directly and protecting the rights of the poor.
As part of the Viksit Bharat Yatra, various departments set up stalls to offer services related to Family Identity Card, BPL Card, Aadhar Card, Ujjwala Yojana, Self-Employment, and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandan Yojana. Lamba distributed certificates to beneficiaries of schemes like PM Vandan Yojana, Old Age Samman Allowance, and Healthy Child Competition. Before addressing the attendees and presenting certificates, Lamba inspected departmental stalls to understand the facilities being provided. He also administered the oath of a developed India to the audience. Councilor Sanjeev Kaushal, along with other dignitaries, including Meeta Sarkar, Harish Monga, Anju Pundir, Naresh, Meenu Dhiman, Kishori Sharma, Monica Sood, Nishat Sharma, and Sodhi Baba, were present at the event.
