External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar conveyed his greetings to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the citizens of Russia on the occasion of their National Day.
He expressed India’s eagerness for ongoing collaboration within the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership shared by both nations. In a tweet, Jaishankar stated, “I extend warm greetings to FM Sergey Lavrov, the Government, and the People of the Russian Federation on their National Day.
We anticipate the continuation of our cooperation under our special and privileged strategic partnership.” Earlier this month, Jaishankar and Lavrov met during the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Cape Town, South Africa, where they engaged in discussions on various bilateral and international matters.
They also commended the active collaboration between India and Russia in key areas within their strategic partnership.
