CM Yogi slams Rajasthan Cong, praises BJP’s schemes

On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Jodhpur for election campaigning. He addressed a gathering in support of three BJP candidates in Jodhpur. Yogi Adityanath criticised the Congress government, accusing it of appeasement and focusing only on the interests of a particular community. He emphasised the BJP’s efforts in providing reservation in politics and implementing schemes for the poor, tribals, backward classes, farmers, and youth.
Yogi Adityanath highlighted the achievements of the Modi government, including the construction of over 12 crore toilets nationwide, housing for 4 crore poor people, and providing piped water to 7 crore families by Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh. He also mentioned the success of BJP’s Ujjwala Yojana benefiting 9 crore women and the Saubhagya Yojana providing electricity connections.
Yogi Adityanath claimed that the BJP government at the centre has implemented more than 100 schemes for the welfare of the poor. He criticised the Congress, blaming them for corruption and unrest during their five-year rule in Rajasthan.
The Chief Minister stated that two years ago in Jodhpur, there were sword-wielding individuals causing disturbances on the roads, and if such incidents happened in Uttar Pradesh, they would have been dealt with firmly. He criticized the governance in Rajasthan for its inability to provide security, dignity to women, welfare for the poor, and developmental schemes.
Yogi Adityanath accused the Rajasthan government of allowing lawlessness and mentioned incidents of violence and lack of justice in various districts. He criticised the government for imposing restrictions during Ram Navami processions and failing to address issues like the murder of a saint in Jodhpur a year ago.
He labelled the state government as one of curfews and violence, alleging the rise of mafia and lawlessness. Yogi Adityanath also brought up the paper leak issue, accusing the ministers of malpractices and claiming that the water ministers were providing clean water to the country but were defeated by Congress in elections.
