On Sunday, due to the closure of tourist places on the day of voting, a large crowd of domestic and foreign tourists gathered in Amer. The maximum number of tourists reached Amer, causing traffic congestion from Amer to Badi Chaupar in the old city. People associated with the tourism sector say that with the onset of winter, the tourism season has begun, which will continue until February next year.
The hustle and bustle of domestic and foreign tourists began in Amer Fort on Sunday morning itself, and by late evening, a crowd of tourists was seen in the fort. As a result, there was a long line of vehicles throughout the day in the lower courtyard of the fort. However, during lunchtime in the afternoon, there was a slight decrease in the arrival of tourists’ vehicles. During this time, local people also got a chance to come out of their homes with their vehicles. In the late afternoon, once again, there was a queue of tourist vehicles in Amer.
According to tourist guides, the first priority for foreign tourists coming to India is to visit Amer. In addition to this, due to the two-day holiday, tourists from Punjab, Delhi, Gujarat, West Bengal, and Maharashtra also arrived in large numbers in Amer on Sunday. After visiting Amer, tourists also explored places like Jal Mahal, Nahargarh, Jai Garh, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Sargasuli, and City Palace. Because of this, on Sunday, the vehicles of tourists were prominent from Amer to Hawa Mahal. Although the hustle and bustle of vehicles in the old city is usually less on Sundays, this time there was extra pressure on vehicles on Sunday. The weather also supported the tourists. The whole day in Amer remained covered with a light blanket of fog, giving a unique look to the tourist spots.
