The Aam Aadmi Party has released a list of star campaigners for the Rajasthan Assembly elections. In this list, along with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the names of 40 leaders are included. The big thing is that Manish Sisodia, the former Education Minister of Delhi, is ranked third on the list, and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh’s name is included at number five, both of whom are currently in jail. In this case, the question arises as to how Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, who are currently in Tihar Jail due to money laundering cases in the liquor scam, will campaign for the elections in Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, another question that arises is whether there was a mistake in preparing the list of star campaigners for the Aam Aadmi Party. Sisodia has been in jail since 22 August 2022, and his bail has also been rejected. On the other hand, Sanjay Singh has been in Tihar Jail since 4 October.
It is worth mentioning that the Aam Aadmi Party, which claims to contest elections on 200 seats, has so far announced the names of 86 candidates in four lists. According to sources, the party has not yet found candidates for many assembly constituencies. While Monday is the last day for nominations.
