During the second phase of Chhattisgarh’s state assembly elections, tragedy struck as a jawan of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), identified as Head Constable Joginder Singh, lost his life in a blast triggered by Naxalites in Gariaband district. The incident occurred near Bade Gobra village while a polling team, accompanied by security personnel, was returning after conducting voting, according to a senior police official.
