The Varanasi properties of bullion trader Narayan Das were raided by investigators from the Income Tax department. The raids, which started on Tuesday morning, were still going on as of the time this report was submitted. The tax sleuths were accompanied by personnel from a number of police stations during the raids. More information is awaited.
