The Population and Immigration Authority of Israel has reached an agreement with the Chinese Contractors Association to recruit 3,000 extra construction workers to Israel.

A screening and recruitment procedure for personnel will commence in the following two months. In Israel now, roughly 28,000 construction employees are engaged.

According to the Authority, the addition of 3,000 workers will provide a considerable boost to Israel’s construction industry.

The CEO of the Authority, Eyal Siso said: “Every addition of workers in the construction industry has significant consequences for the plight of the housing industry and we invest great efforts to promote the issue in our aspects.”
