Amid the war between Israel and Hamas, the Israel Defense Forces said that dozens of Hamas terrorists, including several commanders, were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza today (Friday morning).

Khan Yunis in southern Gaza an Israeli fighter jet struck a Hamas military compound and knocked down seven terrorists among which one of the terrorists killed was a commander in Hamas’s elite Nukhba force who took part in the massacre of Israelis in Gaza-area communities on October 7. The other forces in Khan Yunis dismantled weapons, seizing AK-47 rifle and RPG launchers.

The Israeli ground forcesĀ  in the central Gaza have also recorded to kill approximately 20 terrorists, including several Nukhba force commanders. The soldiers spotted three armed terrorists advancing towards them andĀ  responded with live fire.

Believing the latest record, at least 1,200 people were killed in the Hamas attacks on Israel near the Gaza border on Oct 7. The victims held captive in Gaza by Hamas including the men, women, children, soldiers and foreigners is now believed to be 136.
The rescue operation continues and many other remain unaccounted for as Israeli authorities.
