Abram, accompanying his father at Eden Gardens, witnessed an impressive performance by KKR, who posted their second-highest IPL total of 261 for 6.
Despite a strong innings by KKR’s batters, Abram seemed disappointed when KKR’s skipper, Shreyas Iyer, was dismissed in the penultimate over. KKR’s innings was highlighted by Philip Salt’s 75 and Sunil Narine’s 71, along with contributions from the middle-order batsmen.
Arshdeep Singh was the most successful bowler for Punjab Kings, who currently sit at the second spot on the points table with five wins and two defeats, while Punjab Kings are struggling in ninth place with six defeats in eight games.
