Infosys, the Bengaluru-based IT giant, has announced the departure of Hemant Lamba, its Executive Vice President and Global Head of Strategic Sales. Lamba, a UK-based executive, had been with organization for over seven years before resigning recently.

According to a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Lamba tendered his resignation, citing personal reasons. In his resignation letter to Infosys CEO Salil Parekh, Lamba conveyed appreciation for the opportunities and valuable experiences he had during his time with the company.

“This is to inform you that Hemant Lamba, Senior Management Personnel, has resigned from the services of the company,” stated Infosys in its BSE filing, confirming Lamba’s departure from the executive leadership team.
