NEW DELHI: In continuation with Indian Army efforts to tether with locals of South Kashmir and showcase its responsibilities towards awam, a medicine distribution camp for the youth and children was organised by Chinar Corps at Khundru, Anantnag. The event is an outcome of Indian Army’s continuous endeavour to extend medical care to local populace specially youth and children, who are exposed to Covid-19 pandemic.

A healing touch was provided by distributing essential medicines and medical equipment to local children and teachers of Khundru, Anantnag. It was aimed to tide over fear of Covid-19 using various safety medical equipment during contact classes in the schools. Medicines including N-95 masks, fine surgical masks, sanitizers, Vitamin C tablets etc for each student were distributed during the conduct of the event. Turnout of huge number of children for health awareness program conducted by Indian Army is testimony of extremely cemented bond between locals and Indian Army.

Army officials reassured the locals that all possible efforts will be made in future also to address the genuine requirements of local populace.
