ICAI declared the results of the CA examinations conducted in September 2025, another milestone for the most challenging professional qualification in the country. ICAI released the results of Final, Intermediate and Foundation level exams today (November 3) among the thousands of aspirants, Hyderabad's Tejas Mundada came out on top with All India Rank 2 in the CA Final Examination with an impressive 82% and Mukund Agiwal from Dhamnod (MP) is the CA Final topper this year. A combination of discipline on the job exposure and smart use of technology shone in his journey.
Tejas Mundad with less than two out of every ten candidates clearing both groups, the CA Final remains a test for even the most diligent of students. Having scored 492 out of 600, Tejas's result not only placed him among the top scorers in the country but once again brought to light his consistency as a performer he had earlier secured AIR 5 in the Intermediate exam.

A graduate in commerce from Osmania University, Tejas kept a sharp focus on academics throughout his Bachelor’s program and completed with a CGPA of 8.59. Simultaneously, during college, he progressed step by step through all levels of the CA course and acquired expertise in accounting, taxation, corporate law and audit. His choices have shown a marked career trajectory denned through finance and professional integrity.
Currently an Articled Assistant at Ernst & Young (EY), Hyderabad, Tejas has hands-on experience in statutory audits, financial reporting and compliance. His work spans industries from chemicals to technology, involving frameworks such as Ind AS, IGAAP and US GAAP. Exposure to global audit practices gave him an understanding of the corporate world beyond textbooks an experience that shaped his analytical approach during the exams.

Tejas reportedly cleared every level in the first attempt, crediting his consistency and strategic study habits for it. A significant part of the preparation success came through the use of CA-GPT, an AI-powered tool launched by ICAI in 2024 to assist students using verified institute data. It was "the ChatGPT version for CAs," he said; one of his most effective learning aids.
Hailing from a family of Chartered Accountants, including his father and brother, Tejas found both inspiration and guidance right at home. However, his success is uniquely his own, built on relentless effort and clarity of purpose.
His story reinforces that success in the CA journey is not about luck or location but about strategy, resilience and passion for the profession. As he prepares to step into his professional career, Tejas Mundada’s name will go on to inspire aspiring accountants across India.
