What PM Modi Said For The First Time Since Op Sindoor | IN A BRIEF

In his initial speech to the country after Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deepest respects to the Indian Armed Forces, the Army, Air Force, and the Navy, for their swift and united action in reacting to the Pahalgam terror attack.

Looking at the latest strikes, PM Modi said, “When Indian drones and missiles struck those centres in Pakistan, it was not only the terrorists’ buildings but their guts too trembled. Terrorist hideouts such as Bhawalpur and Muridke were the centres of global terrorism schools. All significant terrorist attacks on the planet, be it 9/11 or major terror attacks in India, are all somehow or another linked to such terrorist camps.”

He further went on to stress the liberty granted to the Indian forces to remove terror threats. “Today all terrorists, every terror group know ‘ki hamari behno, betiyo ke maathe se Sindoor hatane ka anjaam kya hota hai’,” he asserted. Moreover, he continued, “Aatankiyo ne hamari behano ka Sindoor ujada tha isliye Bharat ne aatank ke headquarters ujaad diye.”

The Prime Minister underscored the emotional significance of the mission’s name, stating that “Operation Sindoor is not a name, but an expression of sentiment of millions of citizens of this country. It is an unbroken promise of justice.”

PM Modi also mentioned the vital roles performed by India’s defense forces, intelligence community, and scientists towards the mission’s success. PM Modi also warned the country with respect to national security when he said that while the operation to attack terror targets and Pakistani military targets has been temporarily put on hold, any future threat of nuclear blackmail or further attempts at terrorism will invite a decisive and instant retaliation.
