West Bengal Police Arrests Man Who Publicly Assaulted The Woman In Viral Video

The West Bengal police arrested the man who publicly assaulted a woman in a horrific viral video from Chopra located in Uttar Dinajpur district on Monday.

The man identified as Tajemul, popularly known as JCB in the area, heinously assaulted a woman.

Later, this horrific video went viral on social media. Later, opposition leaders took a note of this incident. Union Health minister and BJP leader JP Nadda slammed WB CM Mamta Bannerjee over the alleged breakdown of Law & Order in the state.

Taking to X, he said, ‘A horrific video has come to light from West Bengal, reminding of the brutalities that exist only in theocracies. To make matters worse, the TMC cadre and MLAs are justifying the act….Be it Sandeshkhali, Uttar Dinajpur or many other places, Didi’s West Bengal is unsafe for women.’

BJP’s West Bengal’s Co-InCharge also shared details of the incident, alleging that the man who publicly assaulted the woman is famous for giving quick justice through Insaf sabha and is a close associate of Chopra MLA Hamidur Rahaman.

Further he also alleged, that ‘there is sandeshkhali in every village and CM Mamata Bannerjee is a curse for women.’

However, the Local TMC MLA Hamidur Rahman denied the connection and is maintaining distance from this incident. Asserted, this is village matter.
