The wife of Andhra Pradesh minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy has caused controversy after a video went viral showing her scolding a police officer for making her wait while she was on her way to an event.
The incident happened in Annamayya district while Haritha Reddy was traveling to a local event. In the video, she is seen sitting in the front seat of a car, reprimanding Sub-Inspector Ramesh because she had to wait for 30 minutes.
She asked the officer several questions and expressed her unhappiness with his behavior. She said, “Isn’t it morning already? What meeting are you going to? Are you here for a wedding or for work? I’ve been waiting for half an hour. Who pays your salary? The government or YSRCP?” The officer stood quietly while she scolded him.
At the end of the video, the sub-inspector saluted Haritha Reddy and moved on as she instructed him to lead the convoy.
