Uttarakhand Board 2024 Results: Priyanshi Rawat Tops Class 10

The Uttarakhand Board exam results were announced on Tuesday. Piyush Kholia from Almora and Kanchan Joshi from Haldwani achieved the highest scores in the intermediate examination, both securing 97.66 percent. Meanwhile, Priyanshi Rawat emerged as the topper in Class 10, attaining a flawless score of 100 percent. Rawat achieved a perfect 500 out of 500 marks, whereas Kholia from Almora scored 488 out of 500 marks.

Priyanshi said, “I stopped going to any function for the High School examination for a year and kept focus on my studies. During this time my parents, teachers, and uncle also helped me a lot in my studies. I did not study more than 3-4 hours but I did it consistently.”

She further expressed, “I want to become an officer in the Indian Army like my father.”

In the intermediate exam, Anshul Negi from Rudraprayag clinched the second position, scoring 485 out of 500 marks, achieving 97 percent. Harish Chandra Bijalwan from Rishikesh secured the third position, scoring 480 out of 500 marks, attaining 96 percent.

The overall pass percentage for UK Board Intermediate exams was 82.63 percent. Among them, the pass rate for boys was 78.97 percent, while for girls, it was 85.96 percent.

The UBSE administered the board exams for classes 10 and 12 from February 27 to March 16, 2024, in pen-and-paper format. As per Uttarakhand board data, 1,16,379 students took the UBSE class 10 board exam 2024, while 94,768 students appeared for the UBSE board exam 2024. These exams were conducted from 10 am to 1 pm across more than 1,228 examination centers.

The Uttarakhand board results can be accessed on the official website – ubse.uk.gov.in. Chief Minister Dhami extended congratulations to all students who passed the high school and intermediate examinations conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education. He praised their hard work and dedication, expressing confidence that they will bring honor to the state and the nation in the future.

He added, “The students who failed in the examination should not be disappointed, their parents are requested not to put pressure on the children but to support them. This is not the last criterion for success in life. All of you can achieve success by trying with full dedication and more hard work.”

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also reached out to students who secured top positions in the State Board examination via telephone, extending his best wishes for their future endeavors.

He said, “This excellent result reflects the tireless hard work, dedication and commitment of these children.”
