Tragic Accident on Lucknow-Agra Expressway: 18 Dead, 17 Injured as Bus Collides with Milk Tanker

Tragedy struck early Wednesday morning on the Lucknow-Agra expressway in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district, where a sleeper bus collided with a milk tanker, resulting in at least 18 fatalities and more than 15 injuries.

The incident occurred near Gadha village when a bus en route from Bihar to Delhi attempted to overtake the tanker, leading to a devastating collision that caused the bus to overturn.

Authorities report that the bus primarily carried migrant workers. Emergency responders swiftly transported the injured to nearby hospitals, where three individuals remain in critical condition.

As of now, the identities of the deceased have not been officially confirmed. Local authorities have mobilized a rescue operation, and further updates on the incident are awaited.
