‘This Whole Election Is Between Ram Bhakt And Ram Drohi’: Yogi Adityanath

While addressing a public rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was in all praises for the Bhartiya Janata Party and in contrast, launched a blistering attack on the opposition.

Saying, both Congress and the Samajwadi Party become agitated whenever the discussion revolves around crossing the 400-seat mark, this ongoing Lok Sabha election.

“Only one voice is resonating in the whole country… ‘Phir ek baar Modi Sarkar, Ab ki baar 400 Paar’.. Whenever we talk about crossing 400 seats, Congress and the Samajwadi Party get tense. They think, how can someone cross the mark of 400 seats?” said Yogi Adityanath.

Later, he further declared, that people will give their votes to BJP over Ram mandir in Ayodhya.

“A voice comes from people who say that we will bring those who brought Lord Ram. This whole election is between ‘Ram Bhakt’ and ‘Ram Drohi’…”- said Yogi Adityanath.

Praising the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he stated, that development has taken a huge leap in Azamgarh.

Yogi also added, the party is also trying to boost manufacturing, so that people don’t have to go elsewhere, to find employment.

Later talking about SP’s tenure in the state, Yogi Adityanath alleged, that Samajwadi people, have looted so much during their regime. They are coming here for vacation and neither they are interested in the development of the region now.

“They (SP) have looted so much during their regime. You have to be careful of them. They are big people. They just came here for a picnic. They have nothing to do with the development of this place either.” said UP’s chief minister.

Meanwhile, the polling has already been held in the first four phases of the election. While elections in remaining phases will take place on May 20, May 25, and June 1.

With counting of votes set on June 4.

Notably, Uttar Pradesh has remained a stronghold for the BJP for a significant period. As in both 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP secured 71 and 62 seats (Out of 80 seats) respectively.

While parties like Mayawati’s BSP, Akhilesh Yadav’s SP and Congress continue to settle with single digit seats.
