This State Government Offers Free Competitive Exam Coaching To Construction Worker’s Children

The Chhattisgarh government has unveiled a new initiative aimed at supporting the educational aspirations of children belonging to registered construction workers in the state. Beginning next month, the government will launch a free competitive exam coaching scheme designed to prepare these students for securing employment.

Initially, the scheme will be rolled out in 10 districts including Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Dhamtari, Rajnandgaon, Korba, and Raigarh, as announced by the state public relations department. This initiative forms a part of the ‘Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramikon Ke Bachchon Hetu Nishulk Coaching Sahaayata Yojana’, initiated under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai through the state labour department.

According to Labour Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, children of construction workers registered with the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board are eligible for the scheme. The coaching program will cover a range of competitive exams including those conducted by the State Public Service Commission, Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, banking sector, staff selection commission, railways, and police. The duration of coaching will vary from 4 to 10 months and will be available both online and offline.

Applications for the free competitive exam coaching scheme can be submitted online by interested beneficiaries. The response has been enthusiastic, with the formation of four batches comprising 50 students each already underway in Raipur, Durg, and Bilaspur districts. The selection process for additional batches is ongoing based on the applications received.

This initiative aims to empower the children of construction workers by providing them with quality coaching to enhance their chances of securing government jobs and other employment opportunities.
