Five Soldiers Martyred in Kathua ; Terrorists Force Local Villagers To Cook for Them at Gunpoint

In Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists recently ambushed an Army convoy, compelling local villagers at gunpoint to cook for them before the assault. The militants, equipped with body cameras, also attempted to seize weapons from the Army personnel. Despite sustaining injuries, the brave soldiers managed to thwart the terrorists’ deadly plans.

The attack occurred on a secluded road close to Badnota village, resulting in the tragic loss of five Army personnel while leaving several others injured. Shockingly, this incident marks the fifth terrorist strike in the Jammu region in just a month, highlighting a concerning escalation in violence.

In response, security agencies have ramped up their investigative efforts, detaining more than 20 suspects for questioning. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has vowed justice for the fallen soldiers, underscoring their unwavering dedication to upholding peace in the region.

This tragic event underscores the ongoing challenges faced by security forces in combating terrorism in the region, prompting renewed efforts to ensure the safety and security of civilians and military personnel alike.
