A terrorist has been killed in the ongoing anti-infiltration operation in Uri sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said here on Sunday.
The Army launched an anti-infiltration operation based on intelligence inputs in the Gohallan area of the Uri sector on Saturday. Armed forces established contact with the infiltrators on Saturday and they reportedly gunned down two terrorists. However, only body of one terrorist has been recovered so far, it reported. At around 11.30 am, the army shared the information about the killing of a terrorist.
Meanwhile, the Army’s Chinar Corps, in a post on ‘X’, said: “One terrorist has been killed in the ongoing anti-infiltration Operation that was launched on 22 Jun in the Uri Sector; Operations are continuing”
