Addressing the nation for the first time after Operation Sindoor, PM Modi sent a strong message to the country and to those who pose a threat to India’s national security. Reiterating India’s firm anti-terror stand, he announced the tactical realignment of how the nation responds to terror attacks.

Releasing the Armed Forces

“We have provided complete freedom to the Indian army to eliminate the terrorists,” declared Prime Minister Modi, claiming that the military has been granted freedom of operations to act with speed and decisiveness.

This is a strong and unambiguous position—no more awaiting clearance from military commanders when the country’s security is at stake.

A Message to Terrorists

The Prime Minister uttered a very emotional and stern statement directed against terror groups and their supporters: “Today all terrorists, all terror groups know ‘ki hamari behano, betiyon ke maathe se Sindoor hatane ka anjaam kya hota hai’.”

This quotation is based on the national outrage at attacks that target innocent citizens and particularly women, represented by the Sindoor, a symbolic mark worn by married women in India.

India’s Zero Tolerance for Terror

Modi emphasized that India will not accept any sort of terrorism, and terror outfits will now be dealt with by the full strength of the Indian forces. He lauded the army’s contribution in the success of Operation Sindoor and asserted India’s right to defend its citizens come what may.

His address embodied strength, justice, and a new era in India’s anti-terror policy.
