Security forces open fire on suspicious persons in Rajouri

Security forces opened fire on Thursday at two suspicious individuals near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani area of Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir, according to official sources.

Border Security Force (BSF) troops first noticed the suspects early Thursday and responded by firing a few rounds. “The troops fired a few rounds at the suspects and also alerted the nearby posts,” an official source stated.

Following this, Army troops deployed in the Sunderbani sector also fired some rounds at the suspicious individuals. A joint team of the Army and BSF has since launched a search operation in the area to locate the individuals.
