Rohini Bedi is a couturier, design evangelist and the force behind Los Angeles’ most successful store, Fashion by Rohini. She spearheads the Indian couture movement in the US. Especially when it comes to dressing Indian brides. Working with some of the finest couture labels out of India she also presents her own fashion story, presenting before the who’s who of the Indian diaspora and American fashion seekers. Showcasing in some of the finest fashion weeks, ramp shows and fashion she is also famed for the well orchestrated trunk shows that she holds in her store and other impressive addresses of America.

Catering to the most affluent of the Indian diaspora based in Los Angeles, Rohini hosts trunk shows across America. Her headliners including Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra, Falguni- Shane Peacock, JJ Vallaya, Gaurav Gupta. Anamika Khanna, Anita Dongre, Abhinav Mishra, Neeta Lulla and Payal Singhal.

Also representing Aza and Pernia’s Pop up, Rohini can help the bride source from over a hundred plus designers, the pricing being ex India and the experience to shop being as if you were in their personal atelier in Delhi or Mumbai. A stylist at heart, Rohini has an intuitive vision of what would suit a personality by her body type and skin color and she helps her clients create their bridal look. At her store she also has a team of photographers and videographers who can be booked for fashion, engagement and wedding events including hair and makeup and henna artists. It’s almost like a one shop stop.

Herself a couturier of rare talent Rohini creates a stunning collection of bridal couture. She shares, “My main forte is custom designing for the Bride. I have brides flying in from different states to meet with me and get their dream-wedding outfit completely customized. I am very passionate about what I do and the bride’s expression of joy when she sees her wedding outfit and her mother’s tears when she sees her daughter dressed like a bride is the most rewarding experience for me.”

Fashion By Rohini is a multi-designer store, which hosts most of the top Indian designers. “I host monthly events, trunk shows over high tea, in-house fashion shows with champagne and cheese, styling workshops, talks on Indian fashion. It’s a by invitation only and a lot of my clients look forward to attending these.”

Rohini emerged as a preferred label in the US too. Making a trip to the US every hear she participated in numerous fashion shows, press and TV interviews and trunk shows in different cities.
