Rekha Gupta, Delhi’s newly elected Chief Minister, from the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), took her oath at the Ramleela Maidan, New Delhi. Dr. Gupta won 45 out of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly Elections, which led to the party’s glorious triumph. BJP returned to power in the nation’s capital after 25 years since 1998 Legislative Assembly Elections. Rekha Gupta became the fourth woman Chief Minister of Delhi.

In-between the changes, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta lost her Blue Tick on X which she previously had. The reason behind this chaos can be the X’s policy that when someone changes their profile picture, they lose their blue tick from the platform, to restore it, the person concerned should subscribe to Twitter Blue by paying the associated fees.
