The nation is gearing up for the upcoming historic ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in UP’s Ayodhya. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Aadityanath today (Sunday) gave the green signal to 100 electric buses for the tourists in the city.
The buses will start its operation from Jan 15 onwards from Dharma Path and Ram Path. The regional transport officer, Ritu Singh said, “We are trying our best to provide clean transportation facilities. With the initiative of the honourable Chief Minister, the city is going to get electric buses. Ayodhya City Bus Transportation Ltd has been formed for the same. We will provide the electric bus service to all our VVIP guests invited on January 22. We are also trying our best to promote CNG autos, tempos, taxis, etc. in the city.”
Meanwhile, the drivers are being sanitized and groomed as to carry a good image of the city. E-autos have also been introduced to enhance the travel service in the city.
The idea of e-buses and e-autos will help in limiting the pollution in the city also the buses are fully air-conditioned. The government and the management are on their toes to not leave any stone unturned for the visitors visiting the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.
As decided the auspicious ceremony will be held over seven days starting from January 16. It is on this day that the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust will conduct the atonement ceremony. Rituals such as the ‘Dashvidh’ bath, Vishnu worship, and offering to cows will be held on the banks of the Saryu River.
