The Defence Minister underscored the success of the operation that destroyed nine terror targets. The Indian Air Force was also hailed by him for demonstrating to the world that India’s war policy and technology have evolved. According to Rajnath Singh, this operation symbolizes a paradigm shift from surviving terror attacks and merely reacting to retaliating with strength and accuracy.
India’s New War Policy and Military Strength
Rajnath Singh explained that the Indian Air Force not only showed military power, but also a new mindset. The destruction of terror camps and some Pakistani air bases indicate that India has enhanced its military muscle. He stated, “The whole world has seen how you attacked nine terrorist camps on Pakistani soil.” This clearly indicates that India will firmly respond to any aggression.
He commended the Indian military spirit and thanked them in the name of the country. Rajnath Singh quoted, “Naya Bharat ab sahan nahi karta, balki wah palat kar jawab deta hai” (The new India no longer tolerates but strikes back). It reflects India’s strong will to protect its sovereignty.
Concerns Over IMF Aid to Pakistan
Rajnath Singh also criticized the recent $1 billion financial support package given by the International Monetary Fund to Pakistan. He warned that Islamabad might utilize the funds to finance terror infrastructure against India.
Rajnath Singh called on the IMF to reconsider giving money to Pakistan, emphasizing that the world needs to grasp the dangers involved. “The world needs to understand the dangers involved,” he said.
