Pune Porsche Crash: Police Organize Over 12 Teams for Comprehensive Probe

Police in Pune have intensified their investigation into the Porsche crash case involving a minor driver, forming more than a dozen teams comprising 100 personnel. The incident occurred on May 19 in the Kalyani Nagar area, resulting in the deaths of two IT professionals who were traveling on a bike.

Three separate cases have been registered for the Porsche crash tragedy, including FIRs related to the accident, serving of liquor to the juvenile driver, and allowing him to drive without a valid license. Several arrests have been made, including the boy’s father, grandfather, and mother, following confirmation that his blood samples were replaced with hers.

Additionally, two doctors and an employee of Sassoon General Hospital are in police custody for allegedly swapping the blood sample of the minor. Multiple laws, including the Indian Penal Code, Juvenile Justice Act, Motor Vehicle Act, and Prevention of Corruption Act, have been invoked in the case.

The investigation involves various teams handling documentation, CCTV footage monitoring, technical analysis, field operations, and communication, aiming for a thorough and meticulous probe. Despite police efforts, the minor was not forthcoming during interrogation at the observation home where he is detained until June 5.
