Pune Porsche Crash: Family Driver Confesses To The Conversation With Teen’s Grandfather After The Accident

In a major revelation concerning the Pune car crash case, the 42-year-old family driver has recently confessed to the conversation he and the teen’s grandfather had, following the accident, to the police.

Recording his statement, the teen’s family driver revealed, that following the incident, he received a call from grandfather and shouted at him over the phone.

Later, the grandfather took the driver to the bungalow in the BMW car. After reaching the former’s house, the grandfather along with the teen’s father snatched his phone.

After confining the driver, the grandfather not only ordered the latter to take the blame for this incident, but also threatened him with severe consequences, if talked about this incident with others.

“I was told to take the blame. He told me, ‘If you talk to anyone about this, remember…’ said the driver, in his statement to the police.

Later, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar informed the media that, in addition to facing pressure, the driver was also offered cash rewards to confess to the police that he was the one driving the car at the time of the accident.

“Pressure was created on him. After the accident, the driver was questioned at the police station. When the questioning was over, he wanted to go home, but he (the teen’s grandfather) forcibly took him to their home, snatched his phone and confined him.” said the police.

This statement comes around the time, when grandfather has been just arrested under charges of wrongful confinement, kidnapping and criminal intimidation.

Grandfather’s Underworld Link

Meanwhile, as the influential family tries to bend the law to save the teen, interestingly, the grandfather’s connection with the underworld has come under the radar.

As the teen’s grandfather, was an accused in a 2009 attempt to murder case on a shiv sena corporator.

According to CBI’s chargesheet, the boy’s grandfather allegedly locked in a property dispute with his brother, had allegedly contacted Chhota Rajan to mediate.

Later, Chhota Rajan got in touch with sena corporator Ajay Bhosale, who that time knew his brother.

However, that time, Bhosale was occupied with assembly elections, as a result, he refused to intervene.

But grandfather on the other hand, believed that the sena leader allegedly supports his brother. Hence, he’s refusing to mediate between them.

Then, he asked Chhota Rajan to kill him.

Luckily. Mr. Bhosale survived the murder attempt, as the bullet narrowly missed him and had hit his driver instead. Thus, injuring him.

Currently, this case is still pending before Mumbai’s CBI court.
