With three decades of culinary expertise in the city, Duta, who manages a chain of restaurants, expressed enthusiastic anticipation for Modi’s arrival, noting widespread excitement among locals.
“We have introduced several traditional Gujarati dishes to our menus,” Duta shared. “For the Prime Minister’s visit, we curated a special menu featuring a variety of new Gujarat-inspired dishes.” Duta also highlighted the special preparations made for the accompanying delegation, emphasizing Russians’ growing fondness for Indian cuisine.

“Initially hesitant, Russians quickly developed a taste for our food,” Duta remarked. “Once they tried it, they became regular patrons.”
The culinary affair underscores not only a celebration of Indian flavors in Moscow but also reflects cultural diplomacy through gastronomy. As Modi’s visit approaches, anticipation builds not only for diplomatic discussions but also for the shared enjoyment of diverse cuisines that bridge nations.
