President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday extended her heartfelt greetings to the people of Nagaland on their Statehood Day, praising the state’s progress and its rich cultural heritage.
In her message, President Murmu highlighted Nagaland’s abundant flora and fauna and its legacy of bravery. She also commended the state’s significant strides in development across various sectors.
“Nagaland is a land of bravery and is endowed with a rich heritage of nature. The state’s progress in development is truly commendable,” Murmu said in a post on X. “I extend my best wishes to the people of this beautiful state for a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive future.”
Nagaland, located in the northeastern region of India, was granted statehood on December 1, 1963.
