The results of the class 10 board examinations have been released by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP). Students can view the results at upresults.nic.in or upmsp.edu.in, the official website.
To announce the results of the UP Board Class 10, officials from the Uttar Pradesh Board conducted a press conference. At the press conference, the Class 10 results were announced along with details on the pass %, toppers, gender-wise pass percentage, and other information.
The UP Board Class 10 test has an overall pass rate of 89.55%. Girls’ overall pass percentage is 93.40%, while males’ overall pass percentage is 86.05%. In the results of Class 10, girls surpass boys.
Shubham Verma, also from Sitapur, placed first in the intermediate exam with 489 out of 500 (97.80%), and Prachi Nigam of the Sitapur district topped the high school exam with 591/600 (98.50%). They are both graduates of Sita Bal Vidya Mandir Inter College in Sitapur, Mahmudabad.
Deepika Sonkar of Fatehpur stood second in her high school class with 590 out of 600 (98.33%). Together, four students who scored 588 (98%), share the third place. They are Arpit Tewari of Pratapgarh, Navya Singh and Swati Singh of Sitapur, and Dipanshi Singh Sengar of Jalaun.
The final exams for High School and Intermediate were administered by UPMSP from February 22 to March 9. A total of 55,25,308 candidates registered for the board exams; of them, Class 12 students make up 25,77,997, and Class 10 students make up 29,47,311.
