Political Battle: Priyanka Gandhi Addresses People Atop Her SUV Bonnet In Rae Bareli

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addressed the people of UP’s Rae Bareli standing atop her SUV on Wednesday night.

While holding the election campaign, the power supply got snapped during the “nukkad sabha.” As result, she was without any public address platform.

However, the audience switched on their phone’s torches to illuminate the environment.

While addressing the crowd in Bachhrawan area of UP’s Rae bareli at top of her voice, she declared You should be proud of yourselves for being the only ones who are standing up for democracy.

“You (people of Rae Bareli) must feel proud of yourself because you are the ones who have always stood for democracy. – Priyanka Vadra.

While targeting PM Modi, she said he has ignored the problems of common people. And has turned totally blind towards their struggle and needs, as price rise continue to kill their dreams.

Expanding on the issue of price rises, she emphasized that women consistently return home empty-handed whenever they venture out to buy household items, as the cost has become unattainable for them.

Whenever anyone questions about thisb topic, the prime minister puts them to Jail.

“The present govt has ignored the common people of India. It has turned a blind eye towards their struggle and needs while price rise is killing their dreams. Women go out to buy things for their homes but come back emptyhanded as those have become beyond their reach. When someone asks the PM to answer this, he puts them in jail.”

Ending her speech she said “Remember, this election isn’t just about your future or that of your child, it is about the future of India as a democracy, the Constitution that gives you this right.”

Why Power Supply Got Disconnected?

Meanwhile, for the final leg of campaign, Priyanka Gandhi reached the designated spot late.

As a result, the permission for the usage of mic or public address system got terminated.

Even though, power generator was provided, but it proved to be too loud.

Later after a quick discussion with the host, it was decided that generator will remain off and Gandhi will now speak without the mic.

This is when, she had got on her SUV’s bonnet and started speaking. While locals on the other hand, gathered around the car and switched on their cell phone torch.
