A short film highlighting the history of the police force in India, the multiple roles of police personnel, and the difficulties faced by police personnel during the performance of their duty was also shown.
This was finally concluded with a retreat ceremony by the Delhi Police Brass Band and Delhi Police Women Pipe Band, who played their patriotic tunes and paid their tribute.
The families of Delhi Police martyrs and serving police personnel also visited the National Police Memorial and paid floral tributes to the martyrs on this occasion. On this occasion, a ‹Run for Martyrs› was also organized. The run started from Nehru Park and reached the National Police Museum.
