PM Narendra Modi gives best wishes for 35th Australian Sikh Games

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his warmest wishes to everyone involved in the 35th Australian Sikh Games held in Brisbane by the Australian National Sikh Sports and Cultural Council. PM Modi stated in his statement that the games will allow the Sikh community to demonstrate its sporting abilities, competitive spirit, and teamwork on a larger stage.

“All the best for the 35th Australian Sikh Games. May the Games serve as an inspiration to younger generations of Sikhs to excel in all aspects of life,” Prime Minister Modi stated in his message. The High Commission of India in Canberra tweeted PM Modi’s greeting on the 35th Australian Sikh Games on its official Twitter account. The Indian High Commission in Canberra shared PM Modi’s message on Twitter, writing, “Message from Hon. PM @narendramodi on the occasion of the 35th Australian Sikh Games.”

The 35th Australian Australian Sikh Games will be held in Australia from April 7-9. PM Modi said in his greeting for the games, “It is a pleasure to learn about the 35th Australian Sikh Games, which will be held in Brisbane by the Australian National Sikh Sports and Cultural Council. Greetings and best wishes to everyone involved with the Games.”
PM Modi stated that the Sikh Gurus guided India and the globe with many eternal and timeless values. If one looks closely at the lives and teachings of the holy Gurus, they emphasized the importance of physical health as well as spiritual growth. Furthermore, the holy Gurus conveyed the concept of bringing individuals from various areas of society together as a team to achieve progress.

PM Modi emphasized in his message that these ideas are relevant in sports, where people join together to compete on an equal playing field regardless of their social background. He stated that the Sikh community is very active in sports, teamwork, and fitness.
“It is in this context that the 35th Australian Sikh Games take on added significance. The organization of these games will allow the Sikh community to showcase its sporting abilities, competitive spirit, and teamwork on a larger stage. The presence of players from various countries is also noteworthy,” PM Modi remarked in his message.PM Modi emphasized the two countries’ similarities, saying, India and Australia have several commonalities – a connected history, shared values, love for democracy, and respect for a rules-based international order.” We are likewise committed to progress and prosperity.

“Sport is adding a new dimension to our vibrant relationship, These Games will also assist to strengthen ties between the two countries.” PM Modi stated after watching a cricket match between India and Australia with his Australian colleague Anthony Albanese in Gujarat in March.
“The Indian diaspora has carved out a niche for itself in the global landscape, and these Games are yet another example of that, I am confident that this campaign will increase love and affection for our diaspora not only in Australia but throughout the world,” PM Modi said in his speech.
